Ah but, I stayed an extra night
Meaning I had a day on my own for those missed items, such as the "Oldest Transport Bridge" in the World. I just had to see.
Vizcaya Bridge or Puente Colgante is a marvel.
Also a final lunch and dinner.

Instead of sitting at a railway station, I found myself

Sad departure - and another odd seatmate
After my non-communitive woman seatmate on the TGV from Paris, who would guess I get worse on my departure flight. If you have a real early flight from Bilbao, don't be in a hurry to get there.
Upgraded flights are the only way to go, prayer works.
Nice to land in San Francisco and revert back to my standard Anchor Steam beer and Clam Chowder. But no, not in a bread bowl.
