Okay, I enjoy local adult beverages along the way.

     Both France and Spain are fantastic wines made to be paired with the regional foods.  Pintxo goes great with the local Txakoli, a white wine poured from high to add efferescence.

 

   Variations on Sangria are worth exploring.

 

Don't forget the beer........

Never a bad meal from Bayonne to Bilbao - nor the stops in-between.

 

Pintxo bars are fun, once you get into the spirit - at first seems like mass confusion - it all works out.  

 

Each restaurant was a dream.

Hmm... there are not enough words to describe the fantastic foods.  The variety of the pintxo (as tapas are called in Basque Country) is endlessly tasty.

    Seafood, chicken, beef, and on and on....
